Europa, a UK support services company employing over 3,000 people, is celebrating receiving the prestigious Investors in People accreditation.
Achievement of this accreditation shows a progressive and open approach to best practice throughout the company. To gain accreditation the company went through a rigorous assessment which scrutinized its people management processes and engaged with staff.
Investors in People identified many areas of best practice within the company and were particularly impressed with its ability to demonstrate consistent processes and an integrated business. Other notable strengths included strong leadership and the clear vision and values that were shared amongst its people. Investors in People found Europa had a culture where people took pride in delivering quality service, placing customers as their number one priority.
Greig Brown, Europa Chief Executive, says “Achieving the Investors in People accreditation shows how committed we are to the continued development of our people. We are proud to be recognised for the strength of our training and development, our obvious service culture and the open way in which we communicate with our staff. This accreditation recognises the hard work and dedication to managing our most important asset – our people.”
Anne Stockdale, Investors in People assessor, comments on the award, “Europa’s people are a pleasure to work with! Their interaction with this process and their purposeful attention to driving better performance by using Investors in People, certainly mirror the company values.
Europa has an enthusiasm and drive not often experienced within organisations and this emanates from inspirational leadership from a number of people throughout the business. One of their great strengths is the senior management’s active commitment to drive improvements and the conviction in their support teams to design, introduce and implement these effectively.”
