The central thrust of Europa's CSR and Sustainability policy in 2008 has been the move towards stakeholder and community engagement. Additionally, we have operated to safeguard the environment through maximising recycling, saving energy and making best use of natural resources. We will continue to review and reduce our impact upon the environment, maintain our environmental responsibilities relating to the safe use of chemicals, equipment and vehicle purchases together with the introduction of waste and recycling initiatives. To achieve this we will monitor and identify new ideas via research, attendance at seminars and meetings on a national basis. To achieve these objectives we will work closely with our stakeholders, clients and the community to ensure that the Europa delivery model champions best practice initiatives, innovation and a continual improvement cycle. We will put our clients at the heart of our business and share our commitment to CSR by working with true partnership principles. We want to become the company of choice based on quality, best practice and client satisfaction. To achieve this we have developed a five year strategic plan that encompasses further initiatives with regard to our CSR and the development of the company as a major corporate player in the integrated facility services market.
Greig Brown, Europa's chief executive states: "Europa is dedicated to working in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. We want to be top of the class on all issues relating to sustainability, energy and waste. To achieve this we work alongside our clients and clients to reduce their own carbon footprint and make sure they maximise their efforts to minimise waste and recycle more."
Europa is based on sound family values with people and the environment as our main assets. We will continue to be committed to maintaining our environmental credentials and develop our supply chain and community links.
