Europa launched a ‘Ride 2 Work’ scheme in 2009 that offered employees help to lease a bike, plus accessories, through the company.  This is a government run scheme that is part of their Green Transport Plan that brings benefits both to our environment and to our people by spreading the cost of commuting, enjoying the health benefits of cycling to work, saving on transportation costs and car parking and doing our bit for the planet!  Since its launch we have had 24 Europa staff take up the scheme and get on their bikes!

We continue to encourage greener transport initiatives throughout the company.  In 2009 our people travelled over 116,776 miles by train, saving nearly 31 tonnes of C02 and have introduced hybrid vehicles into our fleet.
